Where Technology Meets the Wild - 12 Sessions

Service Description
This is a hands-on, AI-powered learning experience where students build, customise, and bring to life their own digital animal characters using artificial intelligence tools. Set within a zoo-themed framework, the experience helps students understand how AI models work—by training behaviours, shaping responses, and designing interactive traits for each creature. Students engage with their creations through structured activities that introduce key AI concepts such as data input, model training, and decision-making. Rather than simply observing, students play an active role in shaping their animals’ personalities and behaviours, using guided tools to explore how AI systems learn and respond. This project combines creativity, computing, and digital literacy in an applied, accessible format. Key Concepts AI Model Creation – Students build and customise basic AI models that simulate animal behaviour. Digital Animal Design – Creatures are themed around animals, allowing students to focus on both form (visual design) and function (behaviour and responses). Interactive Learning – Students train and test their models through hands-on activities, observing how AI changes based on input. Computational Thinking – Focus on logic, sequencing, and data-driven decision making. Practical AI Literacy – Clear links to real-world AI concepts such as classification, natural language interaction, and adaptive systems. Collaboration Focus The experience encourages teamwork by requiring students to collaborate, solve problems together, and share discoveries—building communication and cooperative learning skills.
